          These are Professional chimney brushes!   They will most likely last your lifetime if taken care of properly (kept dry).  They are also Alan's Top Choice!   Over all the chimney brushes we sell, we consider these brushes the best choice overall.
 
       The cheap brushes you find in hardware stores are only .28 ga. wire with a 1/4" spindle to hook your rods up to. The Schaefer Pro Sweep brush bolsters thick, oil tempered, .22 ga. steel wire on the brush and a 3/8" pipe thread spindle!  The Pro Sweep Chimney Brush also has many more bristles than does the cheaper stuff. 

   You can go buy the cheaper junk for about half the money of these professional brushes, but they won't clean the chimney as well, nor last a fraction of the time the Schaefer Pro Sweep will.

   On the Schaefer Pro Sweep Brush, each bristle is individually placed on the spindle in a two-on-two pattern, then positively locked as the spindle is twisted into a double-spiral configuration.
