UL Listed TherMix Insulation
TherMix is a UL Listed 1777 Zero Clearance insulator for HomeSaver Relining Pipe. It's also recommended with Bentinox VG, VFT, and HiFlex Liners.
Mix with water in a ratio of 3.5 parts TherMix to 1 part water, then pour around youru liner.
TherMix is available in 42 lb. bags. each bag fills 3.25 cubic feet. It's easy to work with, pours easily (it has the consistency of potting soil), and contains no asbestos. It takes seven to nine gallons of water to mix a whole bag of TherMix.
To figure how many cubic fet you need on any given job, you need two things: the volume of the chimney and the folume of the pipe. Subtract the latter from the former and you've got the volume of insulation you'll need. Here are the mathematical formulas:
W = width of flue in inches D = depth of flue in inches H = height of flue in inches P = 3.1416 R² = radius of pipe multiplied by radius of pipe
For round HomeSaver and Ventinox sizes:
(W" X D" X H") - (pi X R² X H")
